They say that you will live longer if you have three things in your life: physical activity, a sense of connection, and something to be enthusiastic about. One might say more succinctly that what is good in life is tangible, has purpose, and fires the imagination. All three we find abundantly on our farm & vineyard, and all three are incorporated in our wine.
Our estate-grown Pinot Noir is our flagship wine. In it you can taste the earth here on the farm, experience the structure in the wine made from the interaction of sun and vine, and find inspiration in the long, complex finish.
Sonoma County is an extraordinarily diverse and felicitous place to farm and - in particular - to grow wine grapes. While our site is ideal for elegant Pinot Noir, our neighbors have sites perfect for Chardonnay. And other sites in Sonoma County that are affected by fog to a lesser degree grow outstanding Cabernet and Zinfandel. We strive to give you Pinot Noir as fine as any you’ve ever tasted from our estate vineyard. And we strive to give you the very best of Sonoma County in our other wines made from grapes grown by neighboring, small, family-owned vineyards in this bountiful place.
Henry Siebert planted our family's hillside grape vines on the east side of the Russian River Valley when he was 80. He always said you should taste the fruit in the wine. My husband, Ken Moholt-Siebert, and Arnulfo Becerra prune and tend the vines. The grapes are hand-picked and...

The grapes, from small family vineyards in the Russian River Valley and other appellations in Sonoma County, were harvested in late September...
We strive to make a balanced wine that pairs well with food, that will continue to surprise and interest you with a long layered finish, and that reflects the vineyards where the grapes were grown.
The grapes, from our own vineyard and several other small family vineyards in the Russian River...
This wine comes from old, gnarled, low-yielding vines at
Warnecke Ranch, on the north slope of Chalk Hill in the far
southern end of Alexander Valley, where cooler nights
accentuate fruit, acidity and concentration. The wine
exhibits a note of blueberry over a robust structure...
We picked the grapes for this wine in the cool of the morning. This is a blend of grapes from our own hillside vineyard on the east side of the Russian River Valley matched with complementary grapes from other small vineyards in the valley. The wine was made in small fermenters, aged in...
While our focus at Ancient Oak Cellars is premium wine made from Sonoma County fruit, we like to drink an everyday wine as well. Our Red Table Wine is made primarily from zinfandel, cabernet and syrah grapes from Lodi and North Coast regions. We are able to select the best lots from these...
