Ancient Oak Cellars at Russian Rivery Valley’s “Single Night” and SF “Pinot Days” in June

We are very pleased to be participating in two fabulous Bay-area wine events next month: the Russian River Valley/Next Generation Winemaker’s “Single Night,” featuring single vineyard-designate wines from the Russian River Valley, and “Pinot Days.”

Single Night will be held Saturday, June 5th, from 6:30-10:00pm.  It is being hosted by C. Donatiello Winery on Westside Road in Healdsburg.  We will be pouring our Siebert Ranch 2008 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.  In addition, our sister winery, 47 Friends, will be pouring their 2008 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir later in the evening as it heats up with music and dancing on the crush pad.  There’s a bus leaving from Pier 33 in San Francisco, if that helps with the logistics.  Please come to this great event and stop by and say hello.  We’re looking forward to seeing some old friends and making lots of new friends.

Pinot Days is held in Fort Mason Center on the waterfront in San Francisco.  Sunday, June 27th, from 1:00-5:00pm, about 200 wineries will be pouring pinots – and nothing but pinots – “from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills.”  This should be an amazing – if slightly overwhelming – experience.  If you’re a pinot fanatic, don’t miss it.
